Browne Academy seeks substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. A substitute teaching position requires a compassionate, flexible, and creative individual with classroom experience. This person must work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to support Browne’s mission by promoting the core values in each child’s educational and personal experience. Responsibilities:
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for students’ physical, social, and emotional development.
- Demonstrate professional, ethical, responsible, and supportive behavior of Browne Academy’s mission.
- Comply with school policies and handbook
- Other duties include recess and carline duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
