Parents Association
& Volunteer Opportunities

The Browne Academy Parents Association (PA) is a “friend” raising organization tasked with building community and bringing together families to support the students and school. Every family at Browne is a member of the PA, which hosts a number of social gatherings each year and provides volunteer opportunities for members of our community.

PA in Action!

Volunteer Opportunities

PA Grade-Level Community Builders work to bring families together at the grade level by coordinating social gatherings outside of school, organizing volunteers to support teachers with special projects/celebrations within the classroom, and encouraging attendance at school events.

The Parents Association (PA) organizes a variety of fun, community-focused events throughout the school year—highlights include the Back to School BBQ, Fall Festival, Trunk-or-Treat, Bingo Night, and many more. These gatherings thrive on parent involvement, and there are plenty of ways to contribute. Whether you’d like to lend a hand on the day of an event or serve on a planning committee, the PA welcomes and values your participation!

There are many meaningful ways to volunteer in the classroom—from serving as a field trip chaperone or guest reader to sharing your expertise as a guest speaker or helping with special projects. To explore opportunities and learn how you can get involved, reach out to your classroom teacher.

Each year, the Bruin Benefit brings together the adults of the Browne community for a memorable evening in celebration and support of our students and teachers. Whether you have a few hours or more time to give, the Benefit Committee welcomes volunteers of all commitment levels. Opportunities range from event planning and entertainment coordination to securing sponsors and donations. To learn more about how you can get involved, please contact the Advancement Office.
